Bad ignition switch

Bad ignition switch
92 toyota 4x4
Somehow my ignition switch decided to not work. It wont turn at all and obviously the steering is locked as well. I have tried all that I can think of. I read a chiltons book and it says to turn the switch to ACC and then depress this button on the bottom of the switch. Well I cant turn the key at all. Does anyone have an idea on how to get the old tumbler out so it can be replaced??
