Are the rod bearing bolts torque to yield bolts on a 3VZE also what other bolts are? Head? crankshaft housing?
My other Question is what are you suppose to torque the rod bearing bolts down to because in the book i have it said 45lbs and then a 90degree turn, but when we tried to torque them down we snapped the first one off and the one on the other said was just about to snap.

Any help would be GREAT cuz i want my truck back asap, Thanks

 

Actually, the FSM says 33 lb ft, then 90 degrees, then ANOTHER 90 degrees...you can't reuse TTY bolts!
