What is the correct thread pitch and length for the two bolts that bolt the y pipe to the bellhousing? Im missing both on the 4runner, makes one heck of a rattle....

I want to say its M12x1.25 by 80mm long, but I want to conferm. Searching has been done!!

should be m10x1.25, assuming you had to use a 14mm wrench to remove the bolt

M12 is too large

Well, the thing is, I dont know where the bolts are. They fell out at some point, I never touched them. So I have no clue how big they were. Im just going off of stuff I have read on here..

Well it aint a M10 bolt. I bought 4 and tried them and no worky. Much too thin.

I just stuck a longer bolt in there and used a nut. Works like a hot damn. Gonna test drive it tonight, see if the noise is gone!!

So I'm facing the same thing with my 84 SR5 22r. I hear two different results, I'd love to know what is best. I don't want to buy multiple bolts to only fine that its not any of them. Besides, why not ask the people who have faced this situation before!
Any Hints or tips to make this easy for me, I'd be very grateful!!!
