Many of you will remember the first Mild Lift thread I started, and now there is an update , I just finished the 2 inch body lift today! I started last sunday night and have been working on it after work, I work on cars anyway all day as a mobile windshield tech in northern AZ. The 2 inch kit used was from Performance Acc. and it worked very well. I do know that people like the 4 Crawlers stuff, but they do not have a T100 body lift kit yet. For the T case shifter, I just cut it and welded some stainlees steel extenion, and the auto trans shifter rod needs to be extended and welded also. Two of the body bolts where wrong but I used the stock front 2 bolts in place. It came with one small rubber hose for the gas filler, the bigger hose was just pulled out a little. I think that they should have provided both. The BFG 31's look fine with this lift, but I'm gonna save up for some 285 75 16 soon. I also have the BG spacers, Sway Away T bars, and 1 inch blocks on the rear. Its a good combo, instead of $1,000 ProComp 4 inch lift , this is almost the same for less money, and things are close to stock with nothing hacked up.

not to shabby. you dont see many lifted t100s. well atleast i dont. psssh screw a buncha 35s go 37 inch boggers! jsut cut and trim!

 

35's " OUCH '' that mean gears in the front and back, anyone know how much a new set of gears would be installed at a shop? In case I end up getiing 33's or something like that.

 

if i can pull 33s perdy decent with stock gears and a 22re then you should be jsut fine. if i were you i wouldnt worry about it if your jsut going 33s.

 

Probably around 4-500 a piece including gears and labor....I was jk about 35's, 33's would look good too!

 

Been looking at Goodyear Dura Trac's it a new tire and 285 75 16 are 32.8 inches. They would look great with Dick Cepek 1's DC 1's . With 32.8 inch tires I may not have to get new gears.

Well the install wasnt to hard , but you do need a welder, or know a welder for the Tcase shifter and auto trans shifter , they both must be extended.

 

FW-739, could you not just use the extension in the link below and not haveta weld anything on the shifters??

hartzog69, I did take a look at those , they may work but what I did was cut the Tcase shifter rod at the base and extended straight up two inches, that keeps the angle the same and it looks factory. If you use the ebay extender you are only extending it at the end of the Tcase rod and it may not look right, and it will give it a wider range of angle, and it will be very close to the opening at the floor and it may bang into it. As far as the auto trans shifter rod it was more of a custom fit of 1.5 inches, so welding is the way to go .
