It refers to what happens when Toyota Headquarters gives Toyota designers the okay to talk to the Toyota engineers as long as the bean counters chaparon and the marketing types show up.

These sessions are normally productive but sometimes someone spikes the punch bowl and designers pencil in a cast iron block with aluminum heads and the engineers forget to make a good head gasket for it.

 

its pretty much teh different body styles. jsu tliek with any other car/truck/SUV. for example. a 2nd gen toyota pickup is 1984-1988. 3rd gen being 1989-1995. 1st gen tacoma 95.5 to 2006 i think? but you catch my drift
