what kind of aftermarket steering wheels for 1st gen 4runner?

I want to put a smaller wheel in, what are some options as to where to buy a wheel that will fit? Everything I see on ebay is for '90+ up.

I dont care if the horn works or not

Around here, the horn has to work or you wont pass inspection when you go to renew your plates. Unless of course it is offroad only.

Hey WW how does that steering wheel disconnect work? Is it still working the way its supposed to? Do you take your steering wheel around with you regularly or do you even use it anymore? Do you hide the steering wheel or lock it up in the truck?
I like the idea.

I have the grant challenger wheel (same one as wab posted). I love it, except the horn button flys off and then causes my horn to go off!

I use the Grant wheel disconnect and do use it most of the time. Wheel is removed any time I am parked at home, wheel taken inside with me. For parking in suspicious areas, I remove the wheel and stash it inside the truck. With the locking cap on the steering column, you can't put the wheel back on.

You should be able to get a MOMO or NARDI wheel that will work as well... check out member CDUFF7's JDM thread. He has an ebay store with lots of goodies sourced from Japan including MOMO/NARDI steering wheels they sometimes go for very good prices.
