I saw the Authority too the last time I was in Walmart. It's made exclusively for them by Goodyear. Unfortunately, 265/75 16's are the largest size they're available in. But, Goodyear makes a very similar tire called the Duratrac, which are available in a wider variety of sizes at your local dealer.
Besides the Duratrac and Authority, GY has come out with some other really interesting tires too. Check out the new Wrangler MT/R with Kevlar, Kelly Safari TSR's and the Fierce Attitude M/T.

I wonder how they do on the hwy in the rain which is a big concern of mine since my truck is a DD and wet/winter driving control is a big concern.
I'm considering the Duratracs this fall but my Nittos have treated me quite well on and off road for the last 4+ years and I trust them well enought to get a 2nd set of TGs but will be reading alot on the GYs til then.
The Nittos will save me about $60 out the door.

Here is the response I got from Goodyear when I asked about the tires:

saw these today myself at Wally Mart and I was impressed. I am considering them when I get a job and have some actual money to spend. I am also liking the General Grabber AT2, and would consider another set of Nitto TGs if they would come down in price a bit more.
I am weighing/considering the 235/85/16 size myself...
if you are running these tires recently and have any comments I think the masses are always listening...

I've had mine since 01-01-10, been to Flagstaff, in the snow and Broken Arrow in Sedona, plus miles of trails in Yuma and I am really happy with them. I've paid more for tires and popped the sidewall on the very first trail.
I took this picture a few weeks ago to show a guy on another forum (pirate4x4, I think):

Pictures from Broken Arrow:
The trail was wet in places, but I never had any slippage, or traction issues.

Other trails in Yuma:
Did a mud run in February and the tires worked excellent. They clean out really well.

At just $130.00 per tire, I say they are well worth it.

Does Wal-mart do installs? That might worry me a bit and I prefer a real tire place like Discount since if you encounter an issue I prefer taking my truck back to them and they offer great service and rotations and balances for the life of the tire and their road hazard protection covers pretty much anything.

There's more Wal-Marts in the country than Discount tire shops, so if something happens, there's probably a store within 50 miles.

I just got a set of 245/75R16 Load range E for $155ea. I love the look and feel of them and they are not noisy at all. My 99 4Runner drives well with them and my bro installed a set of 265's on his 06 Tundra double cab and loves em. They do make a 235/85R16 load rangeE as well. Wallyworld installed and balanced them twice to get it right and did not charge any extra for making me happy.

I had a set of 265/75 r16's on my '05 HD chevy... load range E may ass.. horrible for towing and stability with heavy loads.. but a very smooth grippy tire for a lighter DD.. used them in dirt once to get on a construction site, wasn't impressed. i think I got 19k miles out of them..

Dang they look like muds.
