Ground hawg bias tires

Hey all,Im in the process of my sas on my truck as we speak and just looking for tire options. My truck is my daily driver and Wheel it almost every weekend. However,Im still in school so I do my fair share of driving usaully 300 miles a week.Which has eliminated alot of tire choices.

I have read reviews on every mud tire avalible lol. However this tire seems to have hardly any reviews on it.They are also mixed opinions to.So,I came here wondering if any yotas on here have ran them.Ive read they last the 30k+ lifespan in bias and the radial version isnt much higher than the bias as its already a directional tire.Ive heard they are also great in every off condtion except ice.

But, like I said I want a yotatech member to post a review as it has more than likely been made on a yota.

Thanks.

just put a set of hawgs on my truck good pulling tire but they have problems with being out of round.they will shake the hell out of ya .best advice if you choose them run them for about a thousand miles or so have them trued and then rebalanced.wasnt my first choice but i traded a half tread set of mickeys and 150 bucks for 1500 worth of tires and rims c ause the boy didnt like the ride.so iguess i cant complain.

Thumbs up

KM2's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do the same driving as you do. 20 miles to and from school sometimes twice a day and wheelin once or twice every weekend. Sometimes I even make the hour and a half drive to Brown's Camp to wheel. I've put almost 10K on my 35's already and they don't even look worn. They're great on the road, too. I read some reviews of people saying they're loud....dunno what the hell they're talking about. Granted, I ran boggers prior, but the KM2's are just as quiet as my buddies AT's. I've also been very impressed with them off-road. They walk right over the wet rock and clay that I had to throttle over with the boggers. They clear mud real well too. These tires are definitely your best option. Especially since they're still pretty cheap at Discount Tire. Do yourself a favor and get some new BFG's.

ground hawgs suck bad.. they ride like a bogger but have the traction off an all terrain.

My 37" Goodyear MTR's balanced out really well. My rig drives awesome. I'd say 7 out of 10 rigs around here run them.

I had km2s on my truck when i first bought they didnt pull good through mud.Of course it might be different now with 571s lol.I pretty much go through nothing but mud and interco tires just cant take the road milage I would put on them.

Ill check into the good years real quick.

Well your going to have to make some decisions. Do you want something that is better for road/wear or something that is better in mud?

It might be hard to find something that is awesome in the mud and will last a long time on the road.

It sounds like you are in need of a different vechicle for DD'ing or a 2nd set of tires.

Look into the new BFG krawlers if you weren't satisfied with the KM2's. Similar tread pattern but larger lugs and gaps. Probably better for you if you spend a lot of time in the mud. They're a bit spendier is the only problem. Probably a little louder, but you don't care about the ride.

Hmmm i was just looking at those.I also ran across a thread with some nice pics of the super swamper m16s.They are pretty much a highway friendly bogger from what I can tell.Anyone know how well they pull in the mud?or the lifespan?

What size tire are you looking for anyway? I've still got my set of 33" boggers that I'd cut you a deal on. They've still got 60% at least.

I had a feeling this might be the case, since the KM2's have only been out a short while. Great decision! You'll love 'em! In addition to the boggers I had KM's before I bought my KM2's.....night and day!
