Trail-Gear Inc Ring and Pinion reviews?

Looking for people with any input on whether or not i should go with an already assembled 3rd member from trail-gear inc or from a local shop.

Basically what it comes down to is i can buy a diff from trail gear for 949$ + roughly 30$ shipping, warrantied for a year.

Or i can buy an already assembled diff from a local shop which i really like, same exact locker etc but they have Yukon gears (both are 5.29s), but the price is 1229$ + tax.

Anyone have any input into whether or not trail-gear has a ring and pinion set-up that is truly comparable to Yukon? Im really hard on my parts and it would be worth it to spend the extra money to avoid broken parts on the trail.

Ive also seen a few things through searching that says trail-gear is good stuff, but im interested mainly if whether or not it is comparable not if its good. Any input on ARB vs Detroit would also be appreciated. I believe im leaning ARB due to me having control over whether its engaged or not, and i will probably be street driving in the snow.

All the dudes at Fattshack.com run trail gear everything, and they beat on those trucks harder then most people EVER would imagine, so Yeah, I'd run it.. Heck when they go wheelin it ain't no suprise if someone rolls once or twice..
