Well my homies supper sick 4 runner is in a riverbed for the 3erd night. Long story shot this kid is a idiot and for some reason has 32spline hubs/birfs... Well we got 3 30spline hubs down there and its not fitting the new axel. Shed any light on this?

 

Wewt post 100.... Bump. So im not finding any toyota 32 spline hubs online.... What am I missing. Definitly not a 27 spline. So what gives? Why wont our hubs fit his birfs? Mind you this truck is on the trail tonight and our 1 night camping trip is extended into a 3 nighter now... tring to fix this fast, were running outa money for beer... Things could get ugly. Oh and the river bed is pron to flash floods. Didnt exactly see much leafs in the bed for the amount of trees there are

IFS hubs will not fit on straight axle birfs. He needs to find hubs from a SFA truck or Landcruiser, or order the correct inner gears from Marlin.

 

to expand on what DC said, the gears and mechanisms (i.e. dial face and springs) are the same, btu the solid axle trucks have a different length hub body... IIRC, its longer than the IFS by about 3/4"... but i could have that backwards...
