Clutch Pedal master slave pin hole out of round
so i've been having issues with shifting and what not. so i went a head and took out the clutch pedal all together so i could inspect the infamous clutch bracket issue. everything looks fine no signs of fractures, but i have notice that the little hole that connects the clutch pedal to the clutch master cylinder is out of round. I heard you can just weld a washer over the out of round hole as a fix. Has anyone done this? i've searched. i will post pictures later.

given that, I'd weld the hole up and redrill it instead of relying on a couple of washers.
Welds are usually stronger than the surrounding metal though, so be careful.
But if there was a wrecking yard close, I might just go buy another pedal.

so i decided to take the advice and took it down to my local muffler man. he welded the old hole shut, and re-drilled a new hole the same size as the clevis pin. everything is back in and working fine. a+ for 30.00 bucks
toyota wanted 76 bucks for a new pedal.
