ok ive got a 02 taco reg cab 4x4 automatic transmission. and its giving me trouble so i wana swap it out for a manual transmission. i just started working for toyota so i can find parts easly. but whats all involved ...

i know ill need a manual trans ...but what years are interchangeable
clutch pedal and hydralic assembly
but is there any swaping of harnessis and the ecu .
can i reuse my old t-case.
are there any link ive seen um for the 4runners but taco not so much

 

this is kinda a hard swap considering the auto trannys do not have a hole for the pilot bearing in the crank shaft so you would have to drill it out which is a pain in the @$$, other options would be a new crank or a motor outta an engine originally equipped with a manual
