Are there bigger gas tanks?

I am pretty new to this 4 wheeling stuff but I am loving it. I got a sweet heart deal on a 91 4 runner. I have owned a lot of vehicles in 40 years of living and this is the funnest I have ever had. It only has a 17 gallon gas tank though which means about 200 or so miles between fill ups. Are there any larger after market tanks?

there's supposedly a 19 gallon tank from Toyota. But abecedarian and I both get over 200 miles per tank.

you could get an auxiliary gas tank from Northwest Metal Products

11.5 gallons if your spare is underneath or 20 gallons if your spare is on the tailgate

Here's a write-up

2 of those should almost double your distance per tank.

i take mine extra cans only when im 4 wheeling-chained to the hooks in back of the bed, i also use the plastic ones( no rust and yes you must inspect) 3m super 77 and a peice of rubber liner to fit the bottom works good for me

If you be getting only 200 miles per tank, you be needin' a tune up...or perhaps a fixed fuel leak?

So on a 17 gallon tank you're getting about 200 miles between fill ups. That's what? 12mpg?

Give that rig a tune up then if you feel you still want/need more fuel capacity you can buy an aux tank from Downey.
