Ok Ive tried searching for this but havent found what Im looking for. Im in the process of swapping in a 5speed in my v6 and realized that the tranny I bought has a mechanical output for the speedo but mine is electronic. I know I can buy the adapter from marlin but was thinking why can't i just swap an electronic output from a newer 5speed for cheaper? Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks guys!

 

i have the electronic speedo sensor if you need it, and yes you can just swap the 2 provided the mounting hole is the same. i found that the a/t and the m/t units are a bit different in size, both in mounting hole size and gear size. my tranny came out of a 93.
