Question Ball Joint Spacer Install Questions

I was putting in my SDORI ball joint spacers and was pulling on the hub to get enough travel to fit the spacer into the spot and pulled the spline out of the differential and then fit it back in, first problem solved. Then on the other side the same thing happened but the boot came off with the driveshaft. When I put the boot back on and zip tied the thing solid the hub was difficult to rotate and felt like it was hanging up on something. Does anyone know what this could be and what to do to fix it?

It sounds like you seperated the inner cv. Slide the boot back off and make sure the cv is together. Which side did this happen on?

Sometimes the inner joint will "dislocate" so-to-speak where the "tripod" pops out of the socket. Fiddle with it and get it back in.
