Finally got another Yota

Well here is it guys. Its a 91 Ex-cab 4x4. It has 107,000 miles on it. Its really clean compared to alot that I have looked at. The frame is in great shape and the only rust is on the bed from the bedliner and around the wheel arches and the bottom rear sections of the bed. The interior is also really clean. It also has new tires and some nice aftermarket rims on it. So far I have just done a usual tune-up, AAL in the rear and marlin crawler shifter bushings. I also have started to do some rust repair to the tops of the bed that you can see in the pictures. Let me know what you think. I paid 2800.

It's pretty clean inside, that's a plus. Just need to find a good cancer Dr. It pretty sweet to find that year with that low of miles on it. Enjoy your new truck

Thanks guys, I really like the truck. The rust is no where near as bad as my last toy. I had to cut the frame all up an fix rust but this has some minor rust on the bed and a fender but thats nothing. You can see in the picture that I started rust repair on the top of the bedsides.

I'm jealous. I can't find anything like that around here. Everyone here lets their trucks rust to the frames and then labels it as "typical rust for a vehicle this old". No rust is typical if you take care of your vehicle.

I want to fix my truck and sell it and buy an extra cab. need to fix the idling issue first.

From: Cincinnati, Ohio - Amelia is the exact place. There is no one else on this site from where I am. Seems like everyone is from Cali or Washington. I guess I need to move.
love gray extended cabs.....sr5 cluster eh, you figured they would have taken that super vintage cassette player out first. Inside looks great.

Yeah the cassette player is killing me. I went to the junk yard to pick up a Facory cd player out of a 4runner. And when I got back to the yard office they told me they wanted 150$$ for it so I left it there. And Im getting a guy I know to make me some repair panles for the bottom sections of the bed so I can cut out the old and make new again.

Holy crap! You can get a new (good) cd player for $150. Why do they charge so much?

ITs so crazy that they want so much money. I think it is because its the only toyota in the yard and they know how bad people want parts from it so you have to donate a kidney for a radio and other parts you need.

That is a really nice truck. I have to agree with Dave, they are hard trucks to find in good condition

Yeah I agree about the whole rust issue. I posted a thread a little while back before I bought this truck. The kid said that it had some Usual Toyota frame rot that he and his "Fabricator" dad had repaired. Well the truck had a really beautiful int, body lift and nice 33's. However the frame was the worst thing that I have ever seen. It looked like they just grabbed every piece of metal that they could find and just MIG welded it to the frame with the gas off. And the dude couldnt understand why I didnt want to buy it let alone feel safe driving it anywhere. Its really hard to come buy a good solid truck these days. Especially out here in the midwest. Usually the first thing I do is crawl under the truck and inspect the whole frame. Someties I will take a hammer and check for soft spots as long as the seller doesnt mind me hammering around on the frame. Im pretty happy with the truck so far. But Like I said before, Rust drives me crazy so thats the first thing that im taking care of. And im probably going to paint the truck as well when In finished with the repairs. Ill keep you guys updated on my progress. Thanks for all the great comments.

Oh yeah algranger, I just got a new set of alpinestars so I slapped the stickers on the truck.
