Torsion Bar Questions

Hey new to the forum.
To get the specs out the way
_93runner_3.0_5spd_180K_stock_Spacers in back_New shocks_
7-8 wheeling trips.
I picked this 93 runner up and after 2-3000miles the front end is getting noisy.
Seems like when Im close to full lock the torsion bars or ball joints or
something are squaking something fierce. This is during street conditions and as of now hard turning at low speeds is the only time I hear it.
I think its the Torsion-bars, I wanted to try and
"relax" them to see if it stops or lightens up a bit.
Does anyone know off hand the average/stock wheel well height for a
"cranked" T-bar vs a more relaxed one? Right now I have 31's and at the well it sits at 36.5" up front. And it cleared a test fit of 285/65r16 no prob. That leads me to believe the T-bars have steadly worn out and or slowly maxed out from alignments and what not.
Any ideas?

I doubt its the T-bars. If it does it while you are at or near full lock, its just the steering stops. Get new nylon covers for the steering stops adjusters, and you will be good.

I agree. It's just the steering stops, but boy till you have someone tell you that what it is it sure makes you think that the front end is in major trouble. One thing about the nylon caps: If you go that route, buy several sets, they don't last long.
Has anyone tried putting new caps on and the greasing the outside of the cap? Would this make them last longer?
