Cigarette lighter glow ring burned out....

This is not a thread worthy topic, but none the less I am running out shortly to buy some dash bulbs for my 97 4Runner...The cig. lighter heats up but the green glow ring does not light up..Do I just need a bulb (What type) or the whole lighter assembly?

And what bulb for the center console gear selector?

Thanks - (There was really no info available about the cig. lighter on a search)

not really something you can unplug and replace without soldering but it's possible. the gear shift should be a #74 bulb though.

What's is that bulb?

I was curious if you knew what you're if bulb that is? I was able to remove it although it's impossible...as they say. Just want to know what bulb it is to see if I can find compatible led. Thanks for your help.

I believe the p/n for the whole thing is 84999-10250.

I saved the old one, and think I put it in the right bag.
If so, p/n 84999-10250 retails for $ 8.10 - pricey joker.

Any LED replacement options? LED should last longer as it seems to be a bit of a hassle to replace.

Resurrecting this to say thank you for this thread existing. Toyota uses the same bulb as the ignition switch light on my 2006 Sienna, but doesn't list the bulb as a part--just the light assembly. $17 is steep for a bulb, but spending $50 plus shipping for the bulb assembly is worse!
