Starter Fixed, Thanks 4Crawler/Yotatech!

I just wanted to thank this site and 4Crawler for the info on fixing the starter contact issue. I had the click symptoms, ordered the parts and had it back together in no time. Starts like a champ now!

It's the money you save by using Yotatech.

I had more fun putting it back in. That job is best done with a friend.

when my starter went a yr or 2 ago, i took it apart and it looked like my contacts were soldered in there. if i hadnt needed my truck running that day i wouldve loved to just replace the contacts, but ended up gettign a toyota reman.

I'm guessing one under the truck and one at the wheel well. Shove it up to the wheel well and have someone grab it (I just perched it from underneath and came around myownself).

lol. ^

I had to replace the starter in the middle of Chicago, missed school the next day too. It took forever to get it out, I went to a hotel and prnted out some stuff from 4Crawler/Yotatech. Now it takes less than 30 minutes to pull it and put it back in. Dunno why.
