clunking sound while slow driving??

clunking sound while slow driving??

I have a 98 3.4 4x4 Automatic 4runner. when driving at slow speed>10mph there is a clunking feel underneath the truck is this a differential problem ? how can it be fixed?

Check your rear U joints, I had the same problem so I looked and realized that I had grenaded one. 30 bucks later and all is good.

i have the same thing... my u joint is really bad, i've replaced the center bearing and that didn't make a difference.

took it into the shop it was the wheel cylinders that broke

carrier bearing on your drive shaft or a u joint. Does it vibrate on the freeway?
