Ok so i am looking at buying my first TOYOTA because i see they will last for thousands of miles and are pretty reliable from what i been hearing. i am going to look at a 94 toyota pickup v6 3.0 4x4 5 speed that is mint, garage kept and the owner is a toyota tech and always kept up with everything he says and all new parts are right from the dealer. anyhow....from what i been hearing the 3.0 v6 are sluggish and slow, is this true? if so how could i beef it up a little without spending a fortune. i plan on doing a lot of towing so also what kind of weight can these trucks pull behind them in the bed and trailer? also, whats a good price for this since its been kept up with and mint? one more thing....was there a head gasket recall on these motors or was that another toyota motor?
