I've heard 3.90s are best with 33s, but do search, as I'm not positive about this.

X2, that with an auto tranny and you can go about 300 mph. Of course it helps if you have a 150 mph tail wind to go with that.

go big or go home, get 9.99s and 60x15.5x15" tires. That's what real men do. Just gotta trim the fenders a bit for clearance.

Oh and don't forget the quad crawl boxes

60" tires and 3.90 gears lets you pass the Millenium Falcon at warp speed. It also gained me 16" of manliness. I can't even walk anymore, but its ok, cause I can drive over any curb.

So you're saying that if you can swing your...... "junk" into the drivers seat then you'll do the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs also?

Seriously this time, consider the 5.29's if you:
  • live at a high elevation (ie: colorado)
  • have a 22RE
  • Have heavy, aggressive tires
  • tow or haul
  • drive hills often.

you guys are nuts. the millenium falcon? where the hell did that come from? i was running 33's for a long time with 5.29's and loved it, i'm on 35's now and stepping up to 36's in the fall. if your going to be doing more mods in the future, plan ahead. in my own opinion i'd go 5.29's.

plan ahead. if you plan on upgrading in the future, do it once and do it right the first time.

X2 here. If you are planning on an SAS later on then go with the 5.29's now. You'll already have the right gearing for 35's (which you'll probably want with the SAS) and you can sell a 5.29 IFS front pretty quickly. From what I've read 5.29's with 33's isn't a bad situation so you'll be happy with it while you save money for the SAS.
