TRD Exhaust has arrived

Picked up my new exhaust today at the dealer. THANK GOD. I'm getting it installed tomorrow or Thursday, but here's a few teaser pictures for now:

And here's why I shelled out the big bucks

Once it's installed I'll put up some pictures and a video if I can find my actual camera

I'd put it on myself today but I am in the process of writing a 15 page paper that's due tomorrow. If the weather's nice tomorrow afternoon I'll put it in myself. I'm letting the bolts sit in some PB blaster overnight

I honestly don't care if people consider it a "waste" to buy the TRD or any exhaust system. Not to sound like a prick, but it's my money and I feel entitled to spend it as I please. I needed a new exhaust quickly after my old Dynomax rusted out and didn't have the time (2+ weeks) any shops quoted me to get one made. Plus, only one of 5 shops in my area said they would even build me an exhaust. So I decided to not deal with that, cough up the dough to get something that I know will last. It sounds great, and I'm sure that I will never have to deal with replacing the exhaust system (cats excluded, I just don't know how long they are supposed to last) for the rest of the life of my truck.

Here's a video.

I bet it sounds better than the video, since those straight on videos usually make an exhaust sound "ricier" than it is. What are the pipe dimensions of the exhaust? Is it just stock size?

The entire system is still the same size as an OEM muffler and exhaust would be, but right before the tip there is some type of chamber. Couldn't really get a good picture of it. Here's an in cab video that finally uploaded.
