CBI Spare Tire Carrier Fab/Purchase/Advice

Hey, anyone know where to pick up a CBI or similar hitch mounted spare tire carrier? I've been looking around, CBI doesn't have any for sale currently, the one I saw for sale around here was just sold.

Anyone have any experience with these either? They seem kind of unstable considering the weight of the tire and the mount is just on the hitch, with a weak point being the hinge...

no experience with them but the departure angle of the rig is ruined with the tire carrier extended off the hitch.

If it is just for street usage you will likely get by just fine. Severe trails I would leave the tire carrier at home and then of course you could almost count on a flat.
