Question Will 3rd gen parts fit a 2nd gen Runner?

I am sure it has been asked before but I did not find too much on the topic. After looking at a few parts, specifically the body, it sure appears that they are simular. I am currently fixing up a 95 that I will be giving to my daughter in a couple of years. She likes the outdoors and wants a 4x4 (boy I love my daughter!). Anyway I received new bumber brackets they have a label that reads 92-97 4Runner which got me to thinking and looking. It sure looks like the glass is the same and possibly the running boards. I found a thread that stated the mud flaps don't work. How about the radio? Obviously the front suspension is totally out of the question but anything else?

Thanks guys!

Different frames, different bodies. Not sure any parts of the 2nd gen 4Runner were carried over to the 3rd gens.

The only part I've heard of that crosses over from 3rd gen 4Runners, to 2nd gen... and can actually even work on the 1st gen...
... is the driver... but then there's the issue of 1st gen solid axle vs. IFS which confuzzles some drivers' ability to mate with the system and some drivers have problems with leaf vs. coils in the rear.
... oh and some of the light bulbs.

I think 3rd gen wheels might fit.

The rear diff from a 3rd gen 4Runner will also fit any 8" housing.

Not much will carry over though, and certainly not anything major like body parts.
