hitch wiring problem 91 surf

I have a 91 surf and i need to know how to wire up the trailer socket

Trout I changed the title of your thread so it would get more accurate answers for you. Most of our members are north american and over here we refer to what you call the "tow bar" as a "hitch". Over here a tow bar goes on the front of a vehicle so it can be towed behind another.
Calling the hitch a tow bar gave you away... where are you from UK/Oz/Nz?

Fixed it

The brakes,lights. and l/hand indicators were behind the pannelling atl/hand side at the back and the r/hand indicators were on the other side.

i did it on my surf!!

JUST TAKE THEM FROM THE REAR LIGHTS ALL THE WIRES back up hazard all that are there!!!! in your 2 back lights besides tailgate!
