Gas tank

ok here is the deal:

I'm looking to clean/repair my tank and I was wondering if there was some chemical I could get to do this myself. Or should I take it to somebody? (any idea about costs?)

Also, who makes a replacement gas tank for my 85 4runner? (besides toyota)

There's lots of used gas tanks out there, some people literally give them away. Watch for someone parting out a '84-89 4runner. Carb and EFI tanks are slightly different IIRC, make sure you get the one you need.

Be warned, their site is in the dark ages. No e-commerce, no nuttin'...
