Raider4Runner's 2nd gen 4Runner Build-Up Thread

i recently started tearing apart my 2nd gen 4runner and wanted to start my own thread to share the process. i plan to be involved in this build for a good while and will be posting pics of the entire process. enjoy !!!!

out with the old

i started out by removing all the seats in the vehicle...........

Amazing how much junk you can find in those things, ain't it?

Looks awesome man, makes me wish I had an older rig I could work on like that.
I look forward to following this.

Also, if you continue to do the thumbnails in the threads what will aide the slower viewers greatly.

How do you have them saved?
You can use a hosting site like Photobucket and then do an [IMG] tag around it to make them show up in the thread.

Photobucket is very easy to use, has lots of great features and it's free.

seats come out pretty easy. mt little bro is doin all the work too heehee

getting rid of the crusty old console and rear heater. who needs heat in the back???

thanks man i appreciate the tip. are you a firefighter? my bro is a captain with the bernallio county fire dept in new mexico. i was inspired by the front bumper on his pierce rig, id like to have something like that out of diamondplate on my truck.

now out with the nasty old carpet. the previous owner hauled junk parts in it. jerk. look how clean and perfect the wiring harnesses are though, im impressed !

aww man thats cold lol. yes i cleaned it all the time but i have a niece and a nephew that like to trash all my stuff plus this hasnt been cleaned since a 20 hour road trip with 5 people in the truck. i have a new black molded carpet and 3 bulkpaks of dynamat on the way. i think ill build a cool center console too.....

oh man i dont know where to start. glasspack exhaust, paint job, new seats, custom console, custom winch and bumper, light bar, phantom grille, hood scoop, custom intake, intake silencer mod, high flow rad, lightweight pulleys, 2"bl and fj80 rear springs or leafs for now. sas will be down the road after the cosmetics...
