Will a canopy off of a Taco fit?

Looking at a cheap white fiberglass canopy thats clean but it came off of a 99 Taco. Its only 15 miles away but I want to know if it will fit. The beds are similar from what I was told, but still not 100% sure. So, will a canopy off of a 99 Shortbed Tacoma fit my shortbed 91 Toyota?

Thanks

(I know it came off of an extended cab so the front of the canopy is slanted forward)

I want to say one is narrower than the other, not 100% positive though.

I believe the ext cabs have smaller beds, I could be wrong...
Why not go make a test fit...

That's a good question, I wondered the same back when I had my first truck, a 1986 2wd 22R one-tonne long bed.

This is weird, because it is a DIRECT fit, it was made for my truck. I'm surprised how well it sits on my truck, not to far forward, not to far back, not to the left, or the right, just perfect. Hey, for $60 you can't complain! It fits like a glove!

So in conclusion, first gen taco bed tops fit perfectly onto early pickups?

Yep, I would say so. The guy told me it was made for a 99 Taco specifically. It fits perfect!
