Do you have the results? I would really like to see a print out if anyone has one, or even simply to know if it passed? I'm wondering if it burns a little lean (high NOx) with the Supra AFM when in open loop (ie: WOT accleration). That might explain the increase in throttle-response (I'm not convinced it purely less intake restriction).

Bueller?

how would a smog test tell you this though? they dont test your car at wide open throttle on the dyno. its at 15 and 25 mph.

I'd look for high NOx in the readings. That would tell me I was burning hot, and most likely (considering it passes emissions now) could be attributed to a lean-burning condition caused by the Supra AFM.

... or even more likely someone advancing the timing due to installing the Supra AFM?

But you're not looking for an emissions test.
You are looking for a dyno pull and test results including exhaust emissions.

But, I wouldn't change the timing until after the test, so both would b at 5* BTDC.

I don't have as easy access to a dyno, but there is a rolling road w/ emissions tester not far away for $40. BTW, how much does it usually cost to get your engine dyno'd
