OK, I'm running a 3.0 4runner stock with 31" tires, and I'm getting aprox 185 miles per tank.
Also, does anybody no if you will get bad millage with a bad CAT?

I got about 205 miles to a tank with my 31's 3.0 auto with 4.56 gears however I think my cat is clogged too and I was wondering what kind of affect that has on it, I felt that i used to get better milleage when my cat did not sound like it does now

I get like 200 a tank if I run it really really low, on the highway. The way I usually drive, I'm at about 80 or 90 miles at the halfway mark. Ive kept a log of my mileage since I got the truck:

Maybe bad mileage is a long island thing
Edit: Keep in mind that I haven't compensated for bigger tires, the mileage is straight from the odo...still, it's horrid

Well I've had some work done... K&N cone filter, over size 2.5" exhaust, free flow cat and I get around 540kms [335.5miles] to a tank winter/580kms [360miles] summer.
Before I had the exhaust done I was getting around 470kms [292 miles] to a tank, when my cat got clogged it went to around 420kms [260 miles] a tank.
These numbers are from driving about 65/35 hwy/city.
When you get the cat go for a free flow performance cat... they don't cost much more and may even be less then a dealer part and make a huge difference. The 3.0 can be a relatively efficient little mill but you have to open up the intake/exhaust so it can breathe more freely.
edit: I'm riding on BFG AT 31*10.5s
