So here's the deal, i have a buddy who just bought a 1998 toyota tacoma ex cab, it has baja fender and bedsides, and a dana 44 front, arb air front and rear, 5spd, i dont have any idea on gears, neither does he, it was wrecked on the front in he said 6inches pushe in, just some sheet metal and a new radiator. its also sittin on 35x12.50x16s, he paid a 1000 for it and fixed it, He is nortorius for gettin bored with trucks, and this is already starting to happen. what should i offer him for it cash, an offer he wont refuse, but is still a damn good deal for me?

 

Novel idea, pick up the truck and spin the tire once and count the driveshaft revolutions. And it would be a great deal for around 3-4k at least in my opinion, if not more.

 

thanks man, i know the trick and jus haven had the chance to do such, saw the rig for the firs time tonight. i was honestly thinkin about offering him 5000 cash, cuz i have tons of spare parts and access to a lot more so anythin i needed to fix or swap no biggy ya know, and considering it only has a 130000 on it i figured hell barely even broke in, so we'll see . he hasn't said anything about sellin it yet , but itll come soon. which im glad 4 cuz my gain his loss, he's jus very lucky

 

and considering the truck as is without anyextras, you know bone stock books for 5600 around me, ... add 2000 for the sas, already has the 3.4 and a 5spd, i have the transfer case for the crawler box, but yea the stuff it has done too it all together another 7000, so 5000 is a good offer right?
