I was told to take the left bumper bracket and turn it over/ mount it on the right and vice versa but when i did this now my tailgate won't go down all the way and the bumper leans backwards a little, anybody got any info or had this problem before i start fabricating?

 

as far as i knew, this only worked on the earlier trucks. However, as with any body lift, you are going to have to start fabricating.
