I was wondering if anyone was running the BFG M/T 32X11.50R15 on there 2nd gen 4runner on stock height. I was wondering if there was any rubbing with the 11.50 any feedback. Thanks

no ive read that but people only talk about running 10.50 or 12.50 with no rub with the 10.50 and some with the 12.50 but no one talks about running 11.50 tires

 

32x10.5 will fit without rubbing. 32x12.5 will fit with minor trimming. 33x10.5 will also fit with trimming.

 

Whats between 12.50 and 10.50? 11.50, so if 10.5 fits with no rubbing and 12.5 rubs a bit, so that must mean 11.5 will bearly rub....

Yeah, I would say this is a pretty legitimate question. I don't recall any thread pertaining to the rubbing of 32x11.5 tires. I am kind of wondering the same myself.....

 

haha thanks flashkl and I tried searching but no one was really running 32X11.50's so I wasn't sure. And yes stock rims but will getting some soft 8 15X8 here soon and would the diffence in backspcing make a difference.

Seriously tire brand, width and design along with rim offset/backspacing is going to make the most difference.

thats what i run, they are pretty beefy.

To the OP, I ran 32x11.50 Bridgestones on my '95 truck for years. Until i did the body lift they rubbed like hell even with the tbars cranked. I couldn't tell you what backspace my rims were as they're gone now and I never checked, but I do know they were 15x8.

The 4runner may be different.

 

I have 32x11.50 Khumo's on mine. No rub even with the suspension flexed, well the little flex that IFS has lol,

 

Ya idk I think im just gonna go with the 31X10.50R15 with the soft 8's 15X8 and then later on get the ball joint and new coils. Does that sound like an ok setup? Sorry kinda new the off-roading.

 

If you're gonna be upgrading to 32s down the road anyway, just get them now.

Why do a two inch lift if you're not gonna run bigger tires?
