Just picked up and 84 2WD truck and have a lot of play in the shifter. Trying to remove the shifter to inspect the bushing/seat but can't figure out how to remove it. I followed Marlin's thread and a few others, but their shifter is a bit different than my 84. I have the socket exposed and can see the two pins on either side, but am confused as to what I should be pushing down on and turning 1/4 turn. Help. I will try to get a picture of my socket. The FSM is worthless on this one.
