how should i lift?

well my 87 currently has some blocks on the rear with the torsion bars cranked up and i want a better riding and performing suspension. i've got 31x10.50's in some street tires and i plan on going to BFG MT's. not sure if i'd be able to fit 33"?

i dont have the money right now for sas but it'll happen one day

not many other options

did you search?

BJ-spacers or bracket lift... that about sums it up

till you do the SAS, then you've got taller springs, longer shackles, blocks (which I despise by the way, and recommend you don't use then, ESPECIALLY on the front), and so on...

Keep an eye on craigslist. I found a 4" Procomp Stage II lift for 400 bucks from a guy that was taking it off to do SAS, and I ditched the blocks for new 4-5" springs in the rear for 200, and 35 for new u-bolts.

You can get a set of procomp 4" lift springs for under $200 from 4wheelparts.com

Mine I just threw on a 2" body-lift and longer rear shackles no spacers in the front.

I run 35's with it no issues with some trimming.

I would un-crank the torsions honestly. I run mine at stock level they flex alot better if you plan on wheeling it.
BTW 33's should fit pretty much stock with a little trimming. I can say though if you get 35's you will need to alot more or a body-lift.

Also on a another note for a budget wheeler Craigslist.com is your friend....
I found my 35x12.50 bfg tires and rims there for under $200.
