Clutch release bearing retaining clip picture?

Clutch release bearing retaining clip picture?

Putting a new clutch in my 94 4runner. I am to the point where I am going to put the release bearing on, but I cant figure out how the retaining clip goes on does anyone have any pics. I have a factory service manual, but it does not really show or expllain. HELP!

the picture of the clips installed there shows them on backwards (this is an old photo from an old thread of mine). So don't put them on that way =) It produced a nasty rattle for some reason when the clips were installed backwards.

The flat side goes over the hub fingers and the rounded part of the clip goes behind the fork (like in the diagram)

i cant get the pic in the manual to be clear on the camera so i'll try to describe it. the clips are placed with the long, flat portion towards the front of the tranny or closets to the flywheel. the side with the curled or bent "spring" part are towards the tranny itself. hope that helps!
