Yo fellas,
I'm planning for the worst case scenero with My 99 SR5 4x4 Auto after the strawberry milkshake incident with the burst Trans cooling line mixing red ATF and red toyota Coolant. Its far too cold for me to finish flushing the coolant/ATF right now in chicago -5F and I have a backup rig for the time being...

For those of you in the Know:

I'm Trying to find out which exact trans I need for my 99' 4 runner and after calling 2 seperate dealerships, i must say that they have been less than helpfull in providing me information as I think that they sence that I'm looking for a used transmission for a swap out myself...(instead of buying from them at retail cost $$$$$)

My rig was built in 5/99 and I know that this is the cutoff point in which a different auto trans was used...
One dealer gave me the toyota part Number of 35010-3D55084 for the replacement trans for my vehicle..

What does model number mean or translate to?

Also do I have to find that exact same model number on/for a used toyota transmission?

Here are the model numbers on 1 used transmission that I found:
1)35010 3D670 ...... will it work?
