fuel filter qestions

hey all, im in the process of putting my recently built 22re into a 4 runner i picked up for like 500 bucks, what i need to know is, can i bypass the stock location and stock style fuel filter for a easier to change inline fuel filter, cost isnt a concern really since its about the same, but it sure is a pane to install the old ones.....

and also, sense your reading this anyways, how much power/ milage will i see increase with a new air filter on my 98 tacoma 3.4l, i was thinking k&n cause thats what i always use in my cars, but mabey something else, i saw a really nift cool blue bolt on universal that bolts on right before the mass air sensor.....would that help alot....

thanks
wade

Oh no, not another K&N vs. Amsoil debate. Most of us will agree that K&N filters let in too much dirt. So go with an Amsoil. Its cheaper, flows just as well, and filters better. Nuff said.

As far as performance gains? None really. The gain would be in the elbow removal or deckplate mod. The ISR mod is a good one too.

I think a more accurate statement is "Some" NOT "Most". We've all debated this and it is truly a deadlock.

Ok, half and half. That's fair to say.

But you have to admit that the Amsoil is a better value.
