Driver side window very loud going down

Any thoughts as to if this an issue or an annoyance? All other windows go down normally. The driver side goes up quietly but the down is loud and sounds like its dieing. Do I live with it or do I need to look into replacing a motor? TIA

Its possible that the motor is going, could be binding as well..But I would first remove door panel, spray the reagulator(especially the halfmoon gear) where it meets the motor with white lithium grease, and at the X-piviots...Then I would spray the front and rear glass tracts(rubber that glass slides in) with silicone spray..run window up and down several times and spray everything again..Also make sure all the bolts are tight..use a 10mm and 1/4 ratchet to check...If they are loose.. will cause everything to shift and start to bind...After all of that if its still loud..It might be time to look into a motor...

Mine has been doing this since I bought it used at 95k (so probably before then). I'm currently at 145k 3 years later and it's still working just fine. It hasn't slowed or anything. The noise sounds alarming, but it doesn't seem to have gotten worse. I probably will end up squirting it with a little grease, but it doesn't seem to be something I have to be in a big hurry to do. YMMV.
