I would recommend the ones from ToyotaFiberglass...he is a member of this site. Not necessarily for price but I don't see a video on the downey site of them bashing their products with a sledgehammer and them coming out with minimal damage.

as far as fit: contact the vendors.

Provide some others.

And BTW I looked at them just the other day, the Downey is around 160$ for the PAIR, not each. Unless they changed very recently.

i have toyota fiberglass and the fit was near perfect. the downfalls were the 200$ for shipping and they are breakable i put a nice crack in one of mine and im still not even sure what i hit. oh and the customer service is probably the best that ive ever gotten.

I guess it depends if he was looking for a stock fender or a flare.

hannemann and http://www.glassworksunlimited.com/ were the others I was thinking of. It all matters what look/use afnf_life wants.

Check them all out then before you make your decision. All have pros and cons, whether it be fitment or price or strength. Just keep in mind, in most cases you get what you pay for. Fortunately fenders aren't that "critical part" you don't want to skimp on.

I'm pretty sure everyone hates the fit of all the manufactures except toyotafiberglass.com

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f37/...y-parts-93538/

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=504095

Seems like a nice dude, too. Getting to deal with a real person that cares makes all the difference.

downey fenders are hannemman fenders. i have them and the fit wasnt bad. it needed to be trimmed and shaved here and there, but its a aftermerket fiberglass piece. its to be expected to have to do some fitting and fine tuning.

hey guys ..
our fenders http://www.toyotafiberglass.com are a little different then the " other guys " we strictly use ISO resin in the manufacture of all our products .. making them vertually impervious to heat or cold variences .. vertually no shrinkage , and a very tough product .

dosnt make them "unbreakable" .. but there tougher then most others .

biggest problem with selling to you USA folks , is the rediculas freight charges , and broker fees ..
(so much for free trade)

Here in Canada , we ship these accross the country for $60.00 ... as soon as it has to cross the boarder .. it becomes stupid .

.
