I have a pair of 89 leaf springs and 99 trd pre runner springs, both rear end. can i take leafs off one and add it to the other to get some height?

without knowing what vehicle the springs are coming from, and which the springs are going to be installed on ... it's hard to say.
I know you said 89 and 99, but you didn't indicate which vehicle is the donor and which is the recipient.

sorry about that. the donor is the 99 trd set. i want to add the leafs to the 89 pick up. i was told that you could take the bottom leaf and add it to my current set and get some lift. any insight?
