Umm, Good luck getting those to fit, you'll need at least 4 inches of lift, if not more, the great backspacing on like 10" rims.
Major fender well trimming.
Not to mention the fact if you dont have the gears...5.71's (iThink), Your gonna top out at 45, 50 if your lucky, Thats ontop of your crappy gas mileage.
Oh, And another thing, Your going to have to replace EVERY IFS component about...give or take...minus 14...divide rolling resistance....ONCE A MONTH.
Your going to snap Cv's in half and shear your ring and pinion's...

Anyone have anything else to add?

the guy already has 37's on ifs. that is his truck in the avatar. I have never run 38's on my truck so i have no idea at all what would happen so i am not going make stuff up. lol

 

How does your ifs hold up with your current 37s? Have you gone through any cvs? Do you have an open front diff? What kind of angle do your a-arms/cvs have sitting on level ground? I'm probably gonna be going to a size close to that soon and would like some input.

 

That quite a well known quote, but it kind of misses the point. I very much doubt 38s will become the norm anytime soon.

i ran 38's on my ifs for a long while, NEVER had a problem with cv's and im spooled in the rear, with 5.29s front and rear.. just gotta know your limits, and not romp the piss outa it all the time! but i recently decided to ditch the bodylift and lower it down on 34's...becasue i did not like the look of the bodylift..

ill be running 38's but after my sas is done. if its going to get wheeled hard, the ifs wont be too happy. but its not a step up from 37 and its your truck. do what you want, ive seen 46's on ifs yotas

 

Its 1" bigger so you need rougly .5" more clearance then for the 37's.... do it!

 

dont listen to others "tire envy"....not everyone drives their truck everyday and when they do, they wheel it hard....i currently have 39.5 (bald) boggers on my plaything....theyll go down to a 38.5x14x15r after some more suspension work is done. Although i do agree that any tire near or close to this size has no business on an ifs frontend...they will just do more damage than good...

are you just wanting to make a survey of who has what? or are you contemplating purchasing larger rubbbbeeerrrsss?
