Front Leaf Rear Shaclke Relocation

I Have An 84 Truck And Am Planning On Putting Longer Springs In The Front. Has Anyone Relocated The The Rear Shackle Mount On The Front Springs. Looking For Some Ideas On How To Move It Farther Back In The Frame Any Ideas Would Help. Maybe Someone Has Done This Already.

You can run a longer spring shackle up front to handle the longer springs or a "banana" type shackle that is angled to the rear. However, a better option is to move the front spring hanger forward since the biggest clearance issue up front is having the front tires moving back into the wheel well under compression:

Well, you will have to deal with the widening frame as you move back. Would likely need to put the shackle hanger under the frame and inboard it to keep the width equal to the front hanger.
