Push Bar/Brush Guard Installation Help

Hey guys,

I just bought this Push Bar/Brush Guard off of craigslist. Well I have no idea of the brand or what kind it is or how to mount the sucker. If anyone has one like this and could send me some pictures of how they mounted it or what I would need to do to mount it, that would be awesome.

Thank Guys,

Hunter

Looks like it goes down and attaches to where the stock bumper mounts.

That mount is weird, i haven't seen one like that.

The one i had, bolted in place of the front tow hooks. So i cannot help you much.

Okay heres a guess. On the bottom, those brackets. it looks like those might fit on the outer sides of where the two hooks would go. So you might have to drill and bolt it there.

then near the lower cross member on the bumper. it looks like you will have to drill into the bumper to make it sturdy! i would call the guy you bought it from and see if he has any pictures of how it was mounted on his

I still think it bolts up to where the stock bumper goes. It looks like the brackets would like up..

Then you would have to drill two holes for those L brackets to bolt onto the face of the bumper... My best guess anyways...

Yeah I was trying not to have to drill or cut into my bumper. Do you think they sell some kind of mounts online?

Have you held it up to your truck? and kinda seen where abouts the brackets are going?

Its really not that bad, to drill two little holes in the front of the bumper. If you ever end up taking it off, buy a used bumper and install it. I see stock bumpers going for as little as $40..

Got It! http://www.westinautomotive.com/page...ts/75-0103.pdf

I found the installation manual online. I had to make to brackets for the bottom, but the top the manual showed these clips that would hook on the back of the bumper, but if you think about it, if you hit something the push bar would then push right into your front end...thats no good. So Im just going to drill someholes right into the bumper and just use an L bracket and bolt them on. It ended up being a great 30 bucks well spent on Craigslist!

It came with PIAA 40 Round lights, but ones busted and to replace it is 60-70 bucks
