Hey so the keyhole where you turn to open and close the window is jammed. I insert the key and it doesn't turn at all.

I'm thinking that maybe in the process of washing it some water or debris got up into it, but unless it rusted in the last 36 hours it wouldn't make sense, I WD40'd it, and I'm not exactly sure if sand would lock it up like that.

Any ideas?

Yeah I get that, it's pretty common with any kind of cleaner/lubricator. I'm not going to get it dirty for a long time and I've taken an air gun and blown the excess out.

 

contact cleaner or brake parts cleaner to clean it.
make sure the key can turn it. if you still can't get the key to work... new cylinder maybe?
then alcohol base graphite to lube it.
