i have an 88 toyota sr5 v6.. and i was wondering what gears i have in my axles.. i looked up some code you read in the glove box that told you what you have.. and the code read for 6.72's and i dont think thats right.

 

88 v6 5spd..

i think it would be 4:10's but dont quote me on that.

to be sure, you can take off the d-shaft and look at the end of the pinion.

it is color coded from the factory.

id i just found a site that told you and i went and read my vin plate under the motor.. i have 4 pinion open diff with 4.10's i was pretty sure 6.72's were wrong..
