90 4wd 3vze nasty vibration

Hey guys! I searched previous threads for this problem but couldn't find it anywhere. When I'm accelerating OR driving at constant speeds (all driving but coasting or decel) my truck shakes like a leaf to where it's almost deafening in the cab. When I let off the the gas, sometimes I hear a 'TINK' and the vibration stops. I'm suspecting U-joints but wanted some 2nd, 3rd, 4th opinions before I dove in. Also to note, I replaced the driver side cv-axle about 6 months ago, but this problem seems to be more towards the rear. Thanks for the suggestions & opinions.

Sounds like u-joints. How long have they been in there?
4 inch lift whats the pinion angle like? That will speed up wear on the joints.

yeah it was the rear U-joint...no doubt. Wish I could have posted a pic or two just to show how bad this had gotten but just to give an idea, the joint itself had wollered the cup with the needle bearings so bad I could see it was about to pop out & throw the whole drive shaft out. Glad I caught it in time.
