6 in of lift do i need a cv rear d-shaft?

or will the stock one lengthened do?im thinking of taking a front cv shaft and clearancing it and then using the cv on the front of the rear shaft.is this nesssecary?

You will probably need front and rear d shafts lengthened and put a cv in the rear.

Well if its real flexy, he may need it fer tire clearance, or its for muddin. Otherwise i dont really see a purpose either.

or cut off your spring perches and clock the diff. a c/v would certainly be easier.

cv joints?

i have a 80 pickup. for doing a 4" leaf spring lift. do the drive shafts need lengthed. and do i need the cv added on the rear?
