Red face Who's running 31 or 32x10.50 (Got pics?)

Hey guys, i just sold my 92 Toyota and picked up a 2002 V6 prerunner. Man what a difference in power. My fuel economy is about the same or a little better since I'm averaging 19.2 in this automatic V6 appose to 15-17 mpg in the old 5 speed 22RE
Here's my issue, i ordered some rims and before i order tires for it i need to know if this is right. They are 16x10's and the offset seems to stick out a couple inches- Im not sure that's the way its suppose to be? Im also trying to get a general picture of what size tires i should go with. Maybe a few of you guys already have the combo?
I don't really want to go bigger then a 31 since i don't want to effect my mpg-but the bigger reason is because the trucks not even a 4x4. I LOVE the way those Micky Thompson Baja Claw ATZ radials looks, even though the smallest size i found was in a 32 which isn't bad. They're also aggressive but not over kill for a 2wd.

So got pics? Recommendation? I'd appreciate it VERY much! Thanks guys

My truck has 31s on it, link is in my sig. On the mileage and tire size thing, you really loose mileage with wider tires, not so much larger tires.

The majority of the people run 265/70/16 or 265/75/16, which is the equivalent of 31's and 32's on these model years. If you are worried about mileage, well alot has to do with tread pattern, tire weight and size, whether it be width or height. Going up in height can and will change your mileage. Now, It may just be me, but why would you put 16x10's on a prerunner? Also your rim size is beginning to exceed many manf. suggested rim sizes for that tire size. Also have you acually forund a tire in 31/10.5/16 or are you just talking about the equivalent (265/70/16),

i'm all for some really wide 31s, they look sweet, and also, 15" wheels are pretty small, lots of full size trucks and such have the metric equivalent of 31s with 16" wheels. However, with wheels that wide, your really going to want something like 31x12.50s vs 10.50s.

Yea i was talking about an equivalent. I see you you said "manf suggested" where do you find their recommendation?

I thanks for all the replys guys, im glad i didnt stick with those rims. I just wanted a little more tire but not over kill on a PreRunner.
